Free from cars and bikes this path offers virtually care free running. Water fountains and bathrooms are right off the path in case you need a break. Definitely bring a sunglasses, sunblock and a hat or visor. The unobstructed ocean view means no shade trees here.

An asphalt running path on the beach is a nice change from the usual concrete in other beach cities. Outside of summer high season bustle or a local festival this is a pretty sleepy town. Expect congestion free miles.
There are plenty of walkable streets full of shopping and dining when you are not logging miles and enjoying the beautiful Pacific ocean.
